So far I have about a 1 mile long track bush hogged in my field which is about 25 feet wide in all places. The track needs jumps and whoops so I'm looking for folks to donate time and equipment (Excavators and Dozers) to make this a nice practice track for those who are tired of riding in the gravel pits. The track first needs to be rototilled then we can get started in making this a very cool place to ride. Please post any interest on this thread so I can determine if this is a worth while cause or not.

Places to ride in Lisbon area

Does anyone know of trails or pits in the lisbon area that allow riding???? It seems that having a place for the kiddies to ride is a little tough, and the though of sending them to a riding school is cost prohibitive. I thought that a get together for the kids to ride, and maybe give them a little coaching would be a good idea. This event is scheduled for June 19th and 20th, with a ran date of the 26th and 27th. I've got a small track out back that the kids can ride and beat up. I'm sure that most of the adults will have a little fun on it too, but later i kinda figured that there should be time for an adult ride too. This will be a camp over. Bring your own gear/food/whatever. This is also posted over on advrider under the same topic title. if your interested pm me here or there.<br>Todd

Kingfield, Jordan Lumber track

While prowling and growling on the sled this winter, I saw a track in Kingfield somewhere behind a house, behind Jordan lumber. He is the bass guitarist for Godsmack. I built him a couple gates. I may be able to get one maybe two more riders on (have to sign releases). Its an hour and twenty minutes from my house. The track is about 2-2.25 miles and has a great mixture of terrain, hills, jumps and turns. I usually ride once or twice a month there on weekday afternoons and sometimes on weekend mornings. Let me know if you are interested. I figure you helped me out for my first race back in August, and I need more people to ride with.

Tread Lightly! in Maine: Landowners, Access & Communication

If you ride in the woods and don't have your own land, you probably recognize that you could lose access to that land if yahoos trash the place.
