I've been watching a lot of street bike racing on Speed and stumbled upon the MotoGP 250 series. I once had a Ninja 250 that I loved but I'm sure it was nothing like these I watched on tv. I scoured the internet and can't figure out where to buy these. Not that I'm going to buy one I'm just fascinated and want to learn more. They sound completely different than the 600 and superbikes too. I'm wondering if they are 2 strokes.

IRON MAN competition at HMXP track and trail race

This is a 6 hours competition! Sign up starts at 6:30am, ending at 8:30am. There is no preregistration this year. RACING STARTS AT 9AM!!!!! Numbers will be assigned on a first come first serve basis and bibs will be provided (no need to change # on bike) You can compete as an IRON MAN or as a team of three.

Hare scrambles

I just discovered I can get contingency money racing hare scrambles on my Yamaha and I don't know how good I will be since I've never done one before. My question is if I'm an amateur at motocross does that make me an automatic amateur at hare scrambles. Not trying to sand-bag I actually have no idea what to expect as far as how well I would do. The payout is actually much higher for amateurs anyway, I just really don't know which class I am. Thanks.

has ne body heard of this stuff up our way? sure im into moto but i wouldnt mind a bit of variety. i know some ppl who would try enduros but not moto. im sure there are plenty of loggin rds not in use right in our back yards. just a thought;)

dogs at the track

ok.. so this has happened twice.. and now im gunna vent about it. what is the policy on dogs at the track. i see alot of people bring thier dogs... and either keep them on a tight leash or tie em up at the truck. well again this sunday a kinda long hair golden retreiver looking dog was trying to get at my food. this time i was there and chased the dog off.... last time i wasnt to fast and the dog got my burger. no big deal but when you have no cash and only bring a certain amount of food... it is a big deal!!! after i chased the dog off.. it went from pit to pit smelling for food. does this dog get fed??? does it have an owner?? everytime i've seen it.... its just roaming around with no supervision. maybe the dog is very well mannered... maybe the dog doesnt need anyone around.... but thats 2 strikes towards me... i dont wanna see 3!!! there... ive vented and feel alittle better :D
